Hummel Orthotics IS NOT a "Cookie Cutter" arch support! All of our orthotics are Hand Crafted by a Board Certified Orthotist. Most big orthotic labs use either pre-made arch supports or they use a digital device to fabricate the orthotic.
Pre-made orthotics are just off-the-shelf supports. They are often sold with wording like "custom fit," or "customizied." These pre-made arch supports may work well but are not compareable to a true custom orthotic.
Orthotics made by digital scanners water down the true shape of your foot. The orthotics made from this process tend to all look exactly alike! The shape of digitally scanned orthotics look the same for every patient! Not a true custom orthotic.
